Ronnie and Mai went to deliver it to the Soldier & Family Assistance Center on Schofield. It will be displayed at the center in their lobby/lounge room where they have weekly meetings and soldiers, including wounded warriors, gather.
A photo of the quilt presentation will be published in the Schofield community paper, and we will be sure to share the photo once we receive it!
Sarah, our vice president of programming, organized an awesome and superfast charity quilt for an Operation Homefront baby shower!
She passed out block kits at the May 20th general meeting, and members sewed the blocks over the next few days. Then Sarah put together the quilt top, worked her longarm magic, and bound the quilt over the weekend so that she could deliver it in time for the baby shower the following week.
Our guild made a complete team effort to put together and donate the quilt made from our August star challenge blocks! Thanks to everyone who contributed!
