Sew’n quilts amid verdant display spurs creativity

Ellen hard at work in a beautifully serene setting.

A few of us spent a “sew’n” day in February at the beautiful and relaxing Wahiawa Botanical Gardens in Wahiawa, Hawaii.  We all had a delightful time and even got to pose with the camel outside of the meeting room.  Thanks to our president, Christine, for arranging both meeting venues. Sew’n days are one of the benefits of membership in the Oahu Modern Quilt Guild. Our next “Sew’n” day is planned for April, hopefully at another beautiful botanical park on Oahu, Hawaii. Stay tuned to see where we’ll be.
